A unique standard of attentiveness, balanced with the level of privacy you desire and complimented with a gourmet Mexican breakfast cuisine. When you choose to be our guest in the private 600 square foot stand alone Casita, you will also be given unfettered access to the beautifully maintained grounds of one of Southern Arizona’s most impressive Mexican Colonial Hacienda retreat like settings, only ten minutes from the Tubac Art Colony.... but a world apart!

As your hosts our measurement of success is simple:

At La Casita at Hacienda Rincon de la Loma we make every effort to be a step above the typical Bed and Breakfast experience.

Because there is only one Casita on the Hacienda grounds your owners and hosts, Kent & Nancy Driesbock, are able to personally assure that your stay exceeds your expectations at a pace you desire. We offer a true retreat like atmosphere, with only a beautiful pool side setting and majestic mountain views as your company.

Flexibility is something we embraced.

You decide when breakfast is served, in the Casita, on the veranda overlooking the mountains and the cobalt blue tile pool or in the Hacienda’s Cocina with its colorful talavera tiles and hand punched tin cabinet inlays. While you can choose from a varied gourmet Mexican breakfast menu, there is always the ability to request something special. If you have a special need , please just ask and we will do our very best to accommodate.

We value your friendship, as well as your patronage .

In the afternoons we invite you to join us for conversation on the veranda while you enjoy a glass of wine, Mexican beer, or your favorite non-alcoholic beverage. Fresh locally made tortilla chips and salsa or a Mexican appetizer will always be served if desired. Beginning January 2013 we will be proudly be serving fine Arizona Wines from the expanding number of wineries a short hours drive away. Custom locally roasted Mexican coffee along with several varieties of teas are offered. Cold bottled water and imported Mexican sodas and fresh fruit are always available in the your Casita.

Making your stay special is our goal.

While there are many interesting restaurants to enjoy that cater to those visiting the Tubac Art Colony, only a short ten miles away, your hosts are also accomplished cooks of gourmet Mexican cuisine. Given the beauty of the Hacienda setting and its wonderful sunsets we wish to add to this pleasurable setting by offering to prepare, one evening during your stay, a gourmet Mexican dinner on the Hacienda’s veranda.

We have no set menu, as we seek out our guests tastes and preferences, with the goal of making it a special meal and evening. You can choose to dine alone or we would love to join you if you so desire. A fee of $120 is charged and includes Arizona wine or Mexican beer if requested. If your stay is short a one night prior notice is very much appreciated so can prepare. Cooking lessons while we prepare the meal are available, just ask.

We also have a barbeque if want to prepare a meal during your stay. We are always happy to share any spices we might have and prepare a table setting on the veranda for you so you can enjoy the view

Our Casita can only accommodate two adults.

Please Note:

Due to the Casita’s proximity to the pool we cannot responsibly accept children as guests.

Given the potential danger from wildlife we cannot welcome pets .

Credit Cards Accepted Via Pay Pal. $100 deposit due with reservation, with balance due one week prior to arrival. We know plans can change, therefore we offer a 100 % refund, if notified at least one day prior to arrival.
